Client story 4.5.14

When we can, we like to share stories about our client's successes. Here is a story that comes from one of our behavior therapists, Trisha:

 

Today was a really great day for one of my clients and her family! My client (4.5 years old) had been working very hard on learning and expressing personal information. Her parents had reported that she had never been able to say her name when asked. Well today, that all changed!! After our session in the clinic, we walked into the waiting room and we were greeted by her father. I knelt down in front of my client and said, "What's your name?" and SHE SAID IT!!! It was such an amazing honor to be a part of this moment as her father lit up with excitement!! He was so incredibly proud of his daughter and even gave me a high-5! It's wins like these that keep me motivated to be the very best therapist for all of my clients.
