Tips to Get Your Child to Listen (Part 4/4)

For our last post on this topic, we want to remind you to have fun with your child! You could try creating a game for following the direction (Example: “Let’s see how fast you can ____”, or "Quick! Hide the food in the yellow bin so the dinosaurs don't eat it all!").  

Make following directions rewarding by letting your kids know how proud you are when they do a great job. Occasionally provide treats for great work so that they have even more to work for.
